Loyalty platforms ship their own widgets, and they are good at what a chat cannot do: showing a signed-in customer their balance, their tier and their available rewards. What they generally do not do is hold a conversation about the rules, in the customer's language, at midnight, when the person is not logged in.
The division that works in practice is simple. The loyalty app owns the ledger and the redemption flow. The chat owns the explanation: how earning works, what a tier unlocks, whether points survive a refund, how to join. When the question turns out to be about a specific account, the chat says so and offers a person rather than guessing, and the customer ends up in the right place with less friction than a support form.
Because Vatdi has no connector to loyalty platforms, this is a content integration rather than a technical one, which is worth knowing before you plan around it.
