AI chatbot

AI Chatbot for WhatsApp Business

Connect the number you already use. The assistant you trained for your website answers there too — same catalogue, same policies, same handover to your team.

Vatdi answers customer messages on your own WhatsApp Business number using the same AI assistant that answers on your website. You connect your WhatsApp Business account once; there is no second bot to build and no second knowledge base to maintain. It replies from your product catalogue and policy pages, looks up orders on the platforms whose plugin supports it, answers in 95+ languages, and hands the conversation to a teammate the moment someone asks for a person. The channel is included on every plan, including the free one.

What breaks today

The gap without an assistant

  • Customers message the shop number at midnight and read "we will reply in business hours"

  • The website chatbot knows the catalogue; the phone answering messages does not

  • Someone has to watch a phone all weekend, or the messages pile up until Monday

  • A number that writes in is a warm lead, and it is lost the moment nobody writes it down

  • Order status questions arrive on a phone and get answered by hand, one at a time

  • Buyers who do not speak your language write anyway, and the thread goes cold

How Vatdi closes it

What the assistant does for you

  • Answer product, stock and price questions from your live catalogue

  • Look up an order and its tracking on plugin-supported platforms

  • Reply from your returns, shipping and warranty pages, word for word

  • Save every number that writes in as a lead, with the name the sender chose

  • Reply in the language the customer wrote in — 95+ supported

  • Pass the thread to a teammate, with the whole history attached

01

It is your number, and your WhatsApp Business account

Vatdi does not give you a number and does not resell messaging. You connect the WhatsApp Business account your business already owns, and it stays in your name: your display name, your verification, your billing relationship with Meta. Vatdi is the software that reads the messages arriving on it and writes the replies.

That matters for two reasons. Your customers keep messaging the number printed on your packaging and your shopfront, so nothing has to be re-advertised. And if you ever stop using Vatdi, the number and the account go with you — there is nothing to port and no number to give up.

02

One assistant, trained once

The knowledge base is shared. The catalogue your plugin syncs, the pages Vatdi crawled, the PDFs you uploaded, the FAQs you wrote — the assistant answering on WhatsApp Business reads exactly the same material as the one in your website widget. Add a product or change your return window and both channels know within one sync.

The behaviour is shared too. The same guardrails apply: it answers from your content or says it does not know, it never invents a price or a policy, and it offers a person when it is unsure. Your preset questions arrive as tappable buttons on the first message of a conversation, so a new customer can start without typing.

03

Every number that writes in becomes a lead

On a website, a chatbot has to ask for a contact detail and hope. Here the customer has already handed one over: the number they are writing from, which Meta has verified. Vatdi records it the moment the first message arrives, in international format, together with the profile name the sender chose and the first thing they asked.

It is saved before the assistant replies, on purpose. A conversation that goes nowhere — a question you cannot answer, a customer who stops typing — still leaves your team someone they can call back. Leads carry the channel they came from, so you can see at a glance how many arrived by message and how many from the website.

04

Your team takes over in the same place

These conversations land in the same inbox as website chats. When a customer asks for a person, or when a teammate takes a thread, the assistant stops answering that conversation immediately — no talking over your own staff. Your teammate replies from the dashboard and the customer sees it arrive on their phone like any other message.

You can pause the number without disconnecting it. Messages keep arriving and are stored so you can read them; the assistant simply does not answer while it is paused. If Meta starts rejecting messages from your number, Vatdi tells you by email rather than letting the channel fail quietly.

05

Giving customers a way in

A channel nobody knows about gets no messages. Vatdi gives you two places to advertise it, both optional. A button on your store — a round bubble or a labelled pill, sized and positioned where you want it — opens a chat with your number in one tap. And inside the website chat widget, an entry point can sit on the launcher, in the chat header, in the welcome message or in the menu, so a visitor who would rather continue on their phone can.

Both show the number that is actually connected, so nobody has to remember which one is which, and both tell the visitor whether the assistant or your team will answer.

06

What it does not do

Meta allows a business to send free-form replies for 24 hours after the customer's last message. After that, only message templates Meta has approved may be sent. Vatdi respects this: inside the window the assistant answers normally, and outside it you send an approved template or wait for the customer to write again. This is Meta's rule for every business on the platform, not a Vatdi limitation.

Vatdi has no broadcast or bulk-messaging feature, no comment-to-DM automation, and no marketing campaign builder — if you want to message thousands of contacts at once, this is not the tool. It reads text; photos, voice notes and locations are kept in the conversation for your team to open, and the assistant says plainly that it can only read text rather than guessing. And this is the only messaging channel Vatdi covers: there is no Messenger, Instagram, SMS or email inbox.

Meta bills you directly for conversations on your own account, at its published rates. Vatdi does not mark that up, resell it, or add a per-message fee.

07

Included on every plan

The channel is not an upgrade. The free plan connects a number and answers on it, the same as the paid plans; what the plans change is how many conversations a month you get and whether the small "powered by Vatdi" badge shows on your website widget. There is no per-channel charge and no add-on to buy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Vatdi connects an account you own rather than supplying a number. You can connect it in one click if your business is eligible, or paste the credentials from your own Meta app if you already have one set up. The number, its display name and its billing stay in your name.

If it is already on the WhatsApp Business Platform, yes. A number currently used in the WhatsApp Business phone app has to be migrated to the platform first, which is a step you do in Meta, not in Vatdi — and it is worth knowing that once a number is on the platform it no longer works in the phone app.

Yes, and it is the same knowledge base as your website widget. Whatever the assistant can answer in the widget — catalogue questions with real prices and links, your shipping and returns policies, an order status on a plugin-supported platform — it answers on your business number too. You train it once.

The assistant stops and your team picks it up. The conversation appears in the same inbox as your website chats with the full history, and any teammate you have invited can reply. While a person owns the thread, the assistant stays out of it.

Only with a template Meta has approved. Meta allows free-form replies for 24 hours after the customer's last message; after that, an approved template is the only thing it will deliver. That rule applies to every business on the platform, not just Vatdi users.

No. Vatdi answers conversations customers start; it has no broadcast list, no bulk send and no campaign builder. If bulk marketing is what you need, a messaging marketing tool is the right product and Vatdi is not it.

The channel is included on every Vatdi plan, the free one included — there is no per-channel fee and no add-on. Meta charges you separately for conversations on your own account at its published rates; Vatdi does not resell or mark up that charge.

Yes, automatically. The number a customer writes from is recorded in international format with the profile name they chose and what they first asked, before the assistant even replies. Leads are tagged with the channel they came from, so the two are easy to tell apart.
